Our mission?
We’re here to engage, encourage and empower families to create their legacy, by preparing their beneficiaries, and managing their wealth with a stewardship mentality and a fiduciary mindset.
We seek lifetime clients and employees, not simply transactions. Fewer clients, with more time spent with each client, equals deeper client relationships.
Promus Advisors, in our personal and business lives, seek to practice the following principles:
Independence (in·de·pend·ence), n.
Promus Advisors, acting conflict free and solely as our client’s agent, will not receive fees or commissions from any product or service we recommend. In addition, we will fully disclose and fairly manage, in our client’s favor, any unavoidable conflicts of interest that may arise during our engagement.
Objectivity (ob·jec·tiv·i·ty), n.
We will provide honest and impartial advice and services that are always in the best interest of the client without distortion by personal feelings, prejudices or potential compensation.
Integrity (in·teg·ri·ty), n.
Promus Advisors recognizes personal integrity as essential to client trust and demands a commitment to absolute honesty-never being swayed by personal gain. Integrity cannot co-exist with deceit or departure from one’s principles.
Let us know if you share these principles. We’re always looking to work with likeminded partners.

HOW WE CAN HELP
Our Process
We believe to have success in anything in life you need to set goals and then develop a strong actionable plan to meet those goals. As the saying goes, “Hope is not a strategy” and that is where we can assist. We help our clients define their goals, assess their resources, strategize on how to successfully reach your goals, build a plan and implement our strategy.

Wealth Planning
In the planning process you have many difficult decisions to make in your life and you need a professional with the expertise and experience to manage and prioritize those tough choices with you.

Investment Management
For most clients, having a successful plan means building wealth through savings and investments. Our firm helps clients build a portfolio that is unique to their risk tolerance and short- and long-term goals. Since we are independent and only serve our clients best interest, we have access to some of the most prominent and well-respected asset management firms in the world. We are not bound by our own products and only use managers who meet our strict standards.

Clients desire more than just return. Performance is secondary.
Economic uncertainty is certain.
We have choices: Ourselves or Others.
Forecasting is difficult, especially about the future.
Lifestyle drives debt decisions.
Giving breaks the power of money.
A quest for more is never fulfilling.
One will always realize “How much is too much” after the fact.
Debt presumes the future, which is unknown and unknowable.
Self worth is not net worth.
No regrets of the past. No envy in the present. No fear of the future.
Money is a test(imony).
Diversification works most of the time.
A legacy begins today.
Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
Focus on making a life, not just a living.
Economic prosperity is certain only in retrospect.

ABOUT PROMUS
A Salesman Is Not a Steward
Recognizing net worth does not indicate self worth. Our trusted advisors seek to give families of wealth no regrets of their past, no envy of the present and no fear of the future. Success is not defined solely by performance or earnings, but any number of tangible and intangible benchmarks.
Our mission is to encourage and empower families to create their legacy, prepare their beneficiaries and manage their wealth with a stewardship mentality.
Quality. Not Quantity.
We seek lifetime clients and employees, not simply transactions. Fewer clients, with more time spent with each client, equals deeper relationships. Your goals become our goals with unwavering allegiance to integrity, and absolute dedication to objectivity.
A salesman must create activity. A steward invests in trust.

Brandon brings a unique perspective to wealth management, giving and stewardship. Having built and advised close to $1 billion in investment portfolio assets and total personal fortunes exceeding $3 billion, his mission is to engage, encourage and empower families to create their legacy through wealth management with a stewardship mentality and a fiduciary mindset.
Brandon challenges his clients to define wealth as financial, spiritual and social capital, being the product of a life long desire and accumulation of experiences, knowledge, resources and wisdom.
Pope balances his role as wealth advisor with writing, coaching, mentoring and speaking his message of service and giving across the nation, including well over 50 unique guest appearances on radio, television and in print. Joshua Prince
Joshua Prince serves as Senior Wealth Manager at Promus Advisors. He has spent more than 15 years providing wealth and financial advice for some of the nation’s wealthiest families, trusts, estates and foundations. Joshua spent time with Global Asset Management firms, Alliance Bernstein and Northern Trust. Among his responsibilities, he trained financial advisors nationwide on complex wealth planning strategies for affluent families. It was during his 7-year tenure with Alliance Bernstein where Joshua met and worked directly with Brandon Pope, the founder of Promus Advisors, whereby their collective stewardship managed and advised close to $1 billion in investment portfolio assets and total personal fortunes exceeding $3 billion.
Being raised in a small town in Texas, Joshua brings a unique perspective and philosophy to wealth management, stewardship and wealth transfer. It was during those years he learned the value of hard work, discipline, respect, faith, and the challenges that families face in creating a legacy that extends beyond just financial freedom. He has always had a passion for helping others and now uses that passion to help individuals with retirement, investment advice, tax management, education planning and estate and family legacy strategies.
Joshua’s long-standing commitment to unbiased, conflict free financial advice was often difficult to provide during his tenure with large financial institutions, whereby corporate profit and goals interfered with the best advice for the underlying client. When he had the opportunity to reconnect with his colleague and mentor Brandon Pope and join Promus Advisors, Joshua finally found the environment whereby he could provide independent solutions truly tailored to each client’s situation.
Joshua graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Joshua and his wife Kristen have three children, Aubrey, Cole and Drew and live in Allen where they are active in the community coaching sports and volunteering at their children’s school. As a native Texan, Joshua and his family have a passion for the outdoors and a love for all sports.
